Is It Written In The Stars?
I've heard it said by an authority who would know this truth that rarely is a marriage set in heaven and that there could be a number of people that you could choose and make a good marriage. Certainly when you meet a "good" one you know it. So do you ever wonder was your marriage destined in the "stars?" When you were born did every twist and turn lead you closer to each other. Will we ever know?
To us it doesn't matter. As we celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary we know for sure that there is one person we can thank. I don't think that we have ever written this down so now is a good time to say, thank you Richard Gregg. Richard was a best bud of mine in high school and when he went off to college he and Bob were fraternity brothers at USC. Richard set us up on a blind date and that is another story for another day. For now we pay tribute to a very special man who blessed our lives and the lives of our nine children and 25 grandchildren. Thanks, Rich ! ! !
“I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.” 1 Nephi 3:7
“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.” Psalms 22:27
