This Could Never Happen In New York
The door bell rang and there was our lovely Hindu neighbor holding a basket of food. The day before we tried to get our friend the maid and tell her not to come but got no answer so we had to hang a note out for her and tell her that we were sick. Our neighbor said she saw the note and here she was with a late breakfast for us.
One pot was puffy little cakes of grain and the other
A tempting sauce with interesting seeds. We ladled it over the little white cakes. Our neighbor said that it would make us well. It did! We had been sick a number of days and were at the point where we needed strength and we got it from this wonderful Indian food. Chennai is a city of 10 or 12 million, we don't think anyone really knows for sure, but we got home town care yesterday. This could never happen in New York.
“I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.” 1 Nephi 3:7
“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.” Psalms 22:27
