No Monkeying Around
Temples with monkeys sitting like carved statues and . . .
Racing along walls to be ready to beg from you again at the next door. Later in the day one of the young missionaries bought a couple of bananas and offered one to a monkey. The monkey took it and quickly reached into the sack and ran off with both bananas.
Inside the temple walls we were free to wander but one building was reserved for only worshipers.
The far quiet corner was a shady spot for the elephant's baths and of course their makeup. Each had a unique design.
“I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.” 1 Nephi 3:7
“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.” Psalms 22:27
