At The Water's Edge

Along the water summer was coming as the trees popped green leaves. We even saw trees with yellow blossoms and some with white.
Back away from the water we found everything in its winter stage. This made perfect hunting ground. It was hard work to find many of the animals we encountered. If we had come two weeks later as the forest was in full bloom, we would not have seen anything except ourselves in the rear-view mirror.
