We stayed back behind these trees for a few minutes then pulled fifty feet ahead and sat a little longer. Then with determination our guide ordered the driver to back up to the original spot. No one spoke and we sat very still for half an hour. Then we witnessed the quietest display of jubilation that we have ever seen as the guide and then the driver were pointing out THE TIGER. On an adobe colored slope a huge tiger crouched as he drank and drank his fill of the water. It was amazing! He stayed and stayed and was still there after fifteen minutes. Everyone was surprised that the Tiger seemed so content.
