Just the other day I found out it takes 75000 blooms for a pound of saffron spice. who knew? I went to buy a bottle for a recipe I was making and the bottle cost $21. Needless to say, I went another route.
Wow, I would not have guessed such a beautiful purple bloom! I love these photos.
